If you are left confused after this month-long countdown to STILETTO, I have achieved my goal. The Copenhagen Comics festival begins TOMORROW AT TEN and I will be there. Come by booth no. 31, get a signed copy of STILETTO and all of your questions will be answered!

If you liked The Devil’s Concubine, you might expect STILETTO to churn out more of the same gratuitous slo-mo gunplay. Not so! Although there is plenty of violence in this book, this time it is more gritty and real, the purpose to leave an emotional impact rather than looking cool on the page.

To solve crimes, sometimes you have to go in deep. But is Maynard getting in too deep? You’ll have to get the book to see for yourself.

First sharks and now pirates? If Maynard where to pay attention to his son’s school play, he might get a hint to who the bad guy of the story is. But will he put the pieces together in time?

Now WHAT are deadly ocean predators doing in a gritty, urban cop drama like STILETTO? I’ll give you a hint; it’s symbolic.
