We made it through the first couple of days on Highway 1, snaking our way South, wedged between rugged mountains and the chrashing waves of the Pacific. Now we’re at a Motel 6 with wi-fi and two sleeping kids.
Signing at the Isotope was fun. So much, that I forgot to take pictures! Renowned comics writer James Robinson dropped in and bought a signed copy of my book, a rather strange coincidence, since he’s one of the few writers in the industry I have actually worked with. He didn’t know, since my assisting pencils on Peter Snejbjerg’s Starman run was uncredited.
Next week I have some interesting meetings with movie people in L.A. and a signing at the Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach.
Now for a little nap-time.
