Yesterday: Meeting with a film director for coffee, meeting at the Danish Film Workshop about a treatment of mine, then of to the Danish Art Council for a meet about the structure of the organization and how to apply for grants for comic book projects. Entering the palace-like structure, we almost tumbled into Per Arnoldi, all smiling and sun-tanned, looking for a chat. The picture above is from the meeting itself. From the left; Søren Mosdal, Rikke Bakman, Rikke Villadsen, Ib Kjeldsmark, Anders Brønserud, Teddy Kristiansen, Allan Haverholm, Paw Mathiassen and Erik Petri. About a dozen others arrived after this picture was taken, gathering almost every name in the Danish comics industry at one big table. The meeting was arranged by the Danish Comic Council.
A quick beer at Din Nye Ven, a café decorated by fellow cartoonist Cav Bøgelund before meeting with a writer friend of mine for a surprisingly tasty skibberlabskovs at Dyrehaven and a few beers to many, while brainstorming over titles for a TV series concept I wrote.
