This is what I love about doing comics.
That’s a vintage car I’m blowing up, two “actors” risking their life… What would that scene cost if this was a Hollywood movie? But in a graphic novel, what does it cost me to do?
Nothing!
If I can draw it, I can blow it up. The only investment is ink and my own time.
It’s brilliant. I get to be the writer, producer, art department, casting agent, special effects department, lighting department, editor, DP and director- With pretty much final cut.
AND – I get to do all my own stunts 🙂
