Part 5: Milestones
Making a 120 page graphic novel, you need a set of landmarks or you’ll get lost. I started with dividing the story into three parts. Seemed like an appropriate number. I have now finished the first 40 pages and printed a sample for presentation.
The three acts don’t completely follow the Hollywood standard, although there is a radical change taking place from part 1 into part 2. No, I won’t tell you. Let’s just say that there is a central character that I don’t have to draw anymore. And things have definitely taken a turn for the worse.
